Annual “Tune-up”

Keep your computer in a good state of repair!

There are utilities and actions you can take that help your PC to run faster, extend it’s longevity, and protect you if your computer should fail. This is what I call a “tune-up!”

A good “tune-up” can include running utilities, checking your memory for corruption, removing corrupted operating system files, cleaning the registry, checking the start-up settings, helping you organize storage and check for application bloat.

The computer should be opened up to blow out or vacuum dust. (If you are doing this – do NOT use a regular vacuum cleaner as there will be too much static electricity!)

If the computer is running slowly, or if the computer is several years old, an operating reinstall is usually not difficult and highly recommended.  Your technician will review that you have adequately backup and identify what licensed software is on the computer.

And while he or she is at it – the technician can evaluate if your Wi-Fi and router are adequately secured, check the Wi-Fi speed and help with the printer(s).

Some of the tune-up work is consultative, and some is just done for you. I love doing tune-ups! Call or text me – Sharon at 773-769-7435, sharon.sherman@seriouspursuits.com   You’ll get good care.
